In this live webinar, VisualLive will be presenting how mechanical contractors are leveraging Augmented Reality (AR) to replace older analog workflows to provide for faster and more accurate modeling and coordination. Additionally, you’ll learn how AR is fulfilling the promises made by 3D scanning in reality capture.

By using VisualLive’s Mixed Reality/Augmented Reality technology with the Microsoft HoloLens 2 headset or through an iOS / Android mobile devices with the Revit or Navisworks plugins, MEP contractors are able to move their planning sessions from the conference room to the cloud, and from the cubicle to the job site.

This webinar will discuss the changing job site and how Augmented Reality technology is replacing the slower analog workflows and allowing BIM to be at the center of the project.

Save Money:
How we can save money by integrating the BIM to the field so that information can be understood at the speed of sight.

Increase Prefab Accuracy:
How to increase the accuracy of your prefabrication and your BIM by reality overlay

Status Tracking:
How to assess the status of your job site by combining 4D scheduling and Augmented Reality.

Validation Before Installation:
How to save time and prevent costly field changes by quickly overlaying the model to check that the equipment you have received is what was ordered.

Avoid Rework:
How to locate and identify critical connections on site to avoid costly rework

Install Validation:
How to track and validate installation simultaneously

Issue Documentation and Reporting:
How to record issues the right way and deliver it straight to the person that needs to know verses a line in a notebook.
