Video – Using VisualLive Augmented Reality livestream with Microsoft Teams from the HoloLens 2 to the office

VisualLive’s Mixed Reality application HoloLive is now integrated with livestreaming applications through Microsoft Teams.

VisualLive now allows people in the field to stream their Mixed Reality activity to anyone running Microsoft Teams. This technology goes beyond simple video sharing, it allows the user and audience to share activity, annotations, and problem solving tagging features through the mixed reality toolbar.

Through livestreaming, the field and the office are now connected in real-time which will dramatically streamline issues found on the jobsite and in the design office by being able to annotate within Mixed Reality. Teams also includes file sharing abilities through OneDrive.

In this video, we demonstrate livestreaming within VisualLive’s HoloLive™ application. Using Microsoft Teams and the HoloLens, you can now livestream your BIM from the field to the office in order to create live feedback. VisualLive’s customers using HoloLens can now share their BIM from field to the the office and vice versa. This allows VDC managers, Project Managers, designers and Firstline Workers (installation technicians) to communicate in real-time and work with full-scale models to create even leaner workgroups, virtually eliminating the need for on-site meetings to problem-solve issues when they arrive.
